Bank teller Till Reiners' life is torn out of a rut by a series of offbeat coincidences, which ultimately lead him to find himself and realize: His life isn't so bad after all...
DO-PE 69, the license plate used on the Ford Mustang GT Fastback, is the same as on Keek's Ford Taunus in Bang Boom Bang - Ein todsicheres Ding (1999) (Peter Thorwarth's first full-length movie).
When viewing the surveillance footage, the policeman identifies the location of the gas station as "on the A3 [autobahn]," but when the Mustang backs up to the gas station in an earlier scene, a yellow road sign is seen, which is never used on German autobahns, where all signs are blue. The exit indicated on the sign lists Andernach and Mayen, which are on the left side of the Rhine, while the A3 runs on the right side and does not have exits in Andernach or Mayen.
