  • i know that anime movies are not for everybody but i recommend this anime movie for everybody and anybody. its got everything that a good movie needs including a good storyline, top-notch special effects, characters you care about and it is really well pace. what else can you ask for in a entertaining movie.

i've watched a lot of movies and a lot of animated and anime movies and this particular one stuck with me a lot. it is almost magical the way it just makes you feel(alive and also bittersweet...oh so bittersweet). the movie make you feel all the bittersweet moments especially when i was an adolescent. it teaches you about right and wrong and oh that sweet sweet demon boy...he will stay in my memories forever as oh so sweet and innocent and standing for whats right. just thinking about him is making me misty eyed already.

for all you movie fans out there...i give this movie a must see!

make sure you have some tissues handy cause i'm a guy and i rarely shed a tear but this one will opened up floodgates and will probably do the same to you.

whenever i wanted a good cry i watch this movie and it never fails...try it!
  • Even though the movie is filler to the show; it does have veru impressive animation, background designs and soundtrack. Once again, I do love all the female voice acting and the dudes who voice Rin and Yukio. I would give this a, but please watch the anome series first. You will understand the personality of certain characters.
  • Watch the movie! If you have not seen the show, I would rather recommend you watch the movie without having seen the show, I am not saying that the show is weak, it is a strong 7 in my book, but it's nothing substantial enough to make me go door to door about it.
  • Warning: Spoilers
I have to say the whole plot to the movie was amazing, the action was epic, the voices for the English Dub was amazing. this movie took Rin and his exorcist friends including his twin brother Yukio to the next level. The music was amazing, touching and very powerful. Overall the movie and the English Dub was very amazing I give it 10/10! also the comedy parts are funny! very amazing film I loved it! <3 P.S the movie got sold out in my area and I'm one of the lucky ones who went to see it and got my free huge poster! <3 Be warned Spoilers is coming right now!

The demon child is just a very innocent kid who loves to erase memories but the demon got sealed away long long time ago. So now he returns in Rin's world as Rin found him fainted on the ground, he tried to make everyone happy by using his powers but Rin taught him a lesson to not use it to make him to be a bad guy, In the end the kid used his powers to reverse time and everyone didn't remembered what happened but Rin remembered what happened. So Rin will never forget the good times he had with this kid.

Rin and his friends, along with the rest of True Cross Academy Town, are in the midst of preparing for a festival that is celebrated only once every 11 years. While the barriers protecting the city from demon intrusions are being repaired, Rin and his twin brother Yukio are sent to the scene of an exorcism as reinforcements. Things take a turn for the worse and as they attempt to salvage their mission, they meet a mysterious young boy that may threaten everything that they know. Meanwhile, Cheng-Long Liu, a First Class Senior Exorcist from the Taiwan Branch, joins the 'simple' repair operation that forces his fate to cross with 'Satan's spawn', Rin.

Overall it's a pretty good addition to the series
  • The spinoff/sequel films that come with successful anime series are often underwhelming or at best average however this was an exception, exactly what you wanted from an "add on" tale, feeling like 4/5 episodes of the show seemlessly linked. A heartwarming story demonstrating the charm and fantastic character of the series it's truly a great watch and the visuals are jaw dropping experimenting with a more frequent use of 3D animation it's a brilliant little film that's genuinely quite heartwarming
