But I'm hanging in there to see how the season progresses because this show has had some great scenes, especially in the first episode. The second episode was OK, but I am rating episode 3 at the low point so far. Some decisions the characters make just do not see plausible at all and exaggerated for effect. But we get it, you don't have to spell it out to understand what's going on here.
Just give us more "Lu" and tell it like it is.
One thing I absolutely love is the way the makers give us the on screen details of something he steals... that's cool.
This show has promise, but I am not convinced at this point.

Don't know why the industry thinks we need more shows about awful people we could never root for, but hey here we are... And while we're here, let's enjoy this quite realistic portayal of obnoxious shallow delusional 50 year olds which in some level are your friends and neighbors unless you're really lucky in life.
The first three episodes were quite interesting and bingeable, the twists are there and the writing is balanced, also there are signs of a protagonist arc (not a very original one if it is the "a hole hits rock bottom and discovers the meaning of life after being forced to turn to crime") I can see this finding its crowd and pace for two seasons but not much further, I will be finishing the season for sure, even the worst apple tv shows are still quite good.

I'm not much of a fan of the lead actor (Jon Hamm) in this series, but he has pleasantly surprised me! At times I find the plot predictable, a bit outrageous, and recycled. But the script is so well written and delivered that it has kept me engaged thus far!
Not only has it kept me engaged, but it has done the most important thing (in my opinion) a film should, it makes a statement about the human condition that spurs introspection and builds rapport with the audience. The show doesn't take too long to get to the point, and instead quickly gets to an enjoyable simmer. It allows the viewer to enjoy, in detail, the very tangible experience of being in the main character's shoes during this strange moment in his life.
If they've ever had a truly soul-crushing experience that has made one question reality itself, the viewer should relate to both the writer and main character of this surprisingly deep story about getting punched in the face while making life plans. Younger audiences may not get it, and Ted Lasso may be a better binge for them. But for a mature audience, particularly if you liked the character Joe Goldberg in You, I highly recommend giving this $200,000 car a test drive. You'll know if it's your cup of tea by the end of the first episode!

Well, what can I say?
I've just binged two-thirds of the first season in two days and found it surprisingly fun to watch.
It's a gripping, intelligent and emotionally rich series that exceeded all expectations. With sharp writing, subtle tension and complex characters, it paints a compelling picture of suburban life, where secrets simmer just beneath the surface.
Jon Hamm delivers one of his best performances to date - nuanced, charismatic and deeply human. The entire cast is excellent, but Hamm anchors the show with quiet power and emotional depth.
Beautifully shot and perfectly paced, this is a must-watch for fans of slow-burn drama.
If you're a film junkie like myself then you'll appreciate the time and effort that Jonathan Tropper and everyone else put in to make this happen.
I enjoyed it. Not my place to say where it could have been improved. It is what it is.
Thank you.

Your Friends and Neighbors is another hit in a long line of hits for Apple TV+. No other company has a higher percentage of hits than Apple TV right now. It seems like every show they put out is great and addictive. Now, this one isn't their best show but it's absolutely worth watching. Jon Hamm is as terrific as always. His character in this actually reminds me of his best character ever in Don Draper from Mad Men. Olivia Munn (who's one of the prettiest actresses in Hollywood) and Amanda Peet also shine here. All three give some of the best performances of their careers and should have a good chance at being nominated for some awards. I do hate waiting a week between shows though, a show like this is better watched as a binge. There seems to plenty of ways the show can go to produce more seasons so I really hope they plan on doing several more seasons.
