Featured review
In this episode, instead of picking up from where we left off in the previous episode, this episode goes back to when Tracy was a rebellious teenager herself. At the same time, we get to see the time before the kidnapping of Ryan. Here, we see that Tracy had a mother like herself. At the same time, Tracy is hearing rumors about her daughter Faith that worry her. Even though it was disappointing not to pick up from the previous episode's cliffhanger, this episode did an amazing job of showing these characters' complexity. The parallels between Faith and Tracy's journey were interesting, and this episode provided a lot of satisfying answers. The Reverend is an interesting character, and seeing his full story unfold will be interesting. Anna Camp steals the show here by delivering one of her all-time greatest performances. The way she can give Tracy different layers is outstanding. She is both terrifying and sympathetic simultaneously. My only complaint would be that the younger Tracy really doesn't look anything like Anna Camp. Fans of Anna Camp will know that she didn't look anything like Anna Lore at that same age. However, this didn't really detract much from the episode. Overall, this was another great episode that really got me invested in the show. All the characters are great, especially Tracy. But I'm biased. Anna Camp is one of my all-time favorite actors.
