To tell the truth, until Mehmed came, I was extremely disappointed with the Turkish series because of the ongoing history distortion, excessive exaggeration, and showing the same story again and again. Hoped for the latest Salahuddin Ayyubid series, but this too is a gross distortion of history. But Mehmed has brought my hope back, history follow, amazing screenplay, story pacing is all very good and Mehmed is going to be a high quality historical series. Didn't expect a creator new to the historical genre to do so well in his first historical series. Good luck to Mehmed. Hope other makers of historical series learn from this.

This series is so captivating and exciting at every twist and turn. It's the only series i always watch each episode twice just in case I missed something. The characters are all great actors and they play there parts exceptionally. The writers and directors do an excellent job also. The music they play makes all the scenes so powerful. Mehmeds character really comes to life and he comes across as an extremely powerful leader each scene. The costumes are so realistic and it makes feel what this time period was like. I hope everyone gets a change to watch this wonderful series. It's my all time favorite and really deserves a 10 rating.

I never wanted to create a IMDb account till now ... "Mehmed:Fetihler Sultani" is the best Turkish series and probably one of the best series out there . Wonderful screenplay, character development, storyline, and is 90% according to the real history. The actor that plays Sultan Muhammad is great his acting, charisma and attitude everything is great. The series Music, the actors acting. In other Turkish historic tv series they portray them as bad people who don't care about their people but in this series they show how much the byzantine emperor care about their people.
I don't have words to describe how good this series actually is!

Mehmed: Fetihler Sultani is a visually impressive series with a strong lead performance and a fascinating historical premise. However, the inclusion of the Companions of Hazrat Muhammad (S. A. W.) in the storyline is a misstep that alienates a significant portion of its audience. For those who value a respectful portrayal of Islamic history, this series may fall short of expectations. In Short I Fully dislike this series because the inclusion of the moment of the Companions of Hazrat Muhammad (S. A. W.). So i am a Muslim I see they parts and I say this is good series shame on me and my Islamic education.

Text: Ertugrul was my first Turkish series that I watched it was a mesmerising awesome series to watch One of the best. Kurulus osman had its good and bad moments. But series is very interesting. So far sultan Mehmet has kept us very moving and interesting. The actor (Serkan Cayoglu) who is playing Mehmet is awesome and looks aristocrat and ideal for the character of sultan. Keep up the good work 👏
Mehmed is going above from all the series and acting. Acting level is so high that they complete the scene without dialogue only by expressions .A lots of politics is here .No daily soap like repeating scenes and unusual love scenes and no extra useless scenes and every part is perfect and up to the point.

The "Sultan Mehmed: The Conqueror" series is nothing short of a cinematic masterpiece, an enthralling journey that brings to life the extraordinary saga of Sultan Mehmed II, one of history's most formidable and visionary leaders. From the outset, the series captivates with its meticulous attention to historical detail, rich character development, and stunning visual storytelling. It's a historical epic that not only educates but also deeply engages the audience, offering a riveting exploration of Mehmed II's life and his remarkable conquest of Constantinople.
One of the series' most compelling attributes is its commitment to historical accuracy. The creators have gone to great lengths to recreate the 15th-century Ottoman Empire, from the grandeur of the imperial court to the gritty realism of the battlefield. The authenticity of the costumes, architecture, and social customs of the time is impressive, providing viewers with an immersive experience that feels both educational and entertaining. This meticulous attention to detail is not merely superficial; it is woven into the very fabric of the narrative, enriching the storytelling and grounding the drama in a palpable reality.
The portrayal of Sultan Mehmed II himself is another standout element of the series. The character is brought to life with a depth and nuance that does justice to his historical legacy. Mehmed is depicted not only as a.

Its really historical drama series all cast crew members and technion also slute director awsome work becuase its really felt that u r in live ottman empire war drama action thriller politics especially conquered the qudas story grip till part of of all episode i am waiting every week this drama up coming episode 99% real story of sultan feth muhammd others serise only spices of ladies and focus only voulger but this drama serise totaly based on true story of sultan mehmed faithlr qudas the main caractor sulten mehmed acting mindblowing his persnolty such a like sultan he justify with his caractor.
I have watched almost every turkish historical dizi, but I am in awe of this one. The acting of the cast especially Cerkan, Different background music and not dragging the story really made me hook into this one. KO, DE, UBS, in all these dramas, a particular arc used to finish in more than 10 episodes but in MFS, we see every sub arc finishing in just one or two episodes. Story sequences are close to history and they are able to represent them without any dragging and useless side stories like we see in KO. I hope they show all the storylines of Mehmet Fatih. Looking forward to conquest of Constantinople in next season.

I couldn't help but notice the abomination of rating 7.5 for this historical show that is better than every every other historical TV show Hollywood has ever delivered? Someone in the reviews is complaining about one of the most Epic battles in this series as a negative because he cannot wrap his head around a Sultan being too young lol, that is level of reviewers we get here, but such reviewers always have other reasons for giving one star to show that is clearly 10/10. What might that be? Simple answer is Hate of victories of these Sultans due to you know what the term is.
About the show itself this is just elite production, with every character chosen to deliver a masterpiece of acting. I haven't even found one character in this TV show that isn't a great actor. Their acting, the production quality, epic and thrilling background music. Come on this show needs no introduction, it is simply a masterpiece and I am hoping the second season will only get better.

The story of Mehmet the Conquered is really interesting, we have already seen from rise of the ottoman produced by Netflix Turkey. But that was a docudrama and it has a lot of limitations. This series makes up for all the defects in that docudrama by portraying the story inside the palace, the conflict between father and son, the love between Mara Hatun and Mehmet, Mehmet's wife, etc.
The main good thing about the series, it does not portray the villain's side as evil, it describes their negative and positive sides. To make the villain's side stronger, they bought a new actor from Spain, and he is really amazing with his voice and screen presence.
Season 1 showed the internal politics of the palace and season 2 started with the beginning of the great war. I hope this strong story will continue and make this series epic after Dirilis Ertugrul and Uyanis.

The best series I have ever watched , the casts ,the director , i means all are so perfectly and well organized that you will have no option but to give it 10 by 10 score , if you still haven't , just try to start it you will be amazed by the stellar Performances of the
cast of "Mehmed: Fetihler Sultani". Serkan Çayoglu, who plays Sultan Mehmed II, embodies the character with a perfect blend of regal authority and human vulnerability. His portrayal brings depth to the character, making Mehmed II both relatable and awe-inspiring. The supporting cast, including Selim Bayraktar as Çandarli Halil Pasha and Seçkin Özdemir as Konstantinos, also deliver powerful performances that enhance the overall narrative.

Just the whole crew in general are amazing the cast, the producers, the creator of the music for this series I mean it has blown my mind away for how good this series is it deserves an Emmy or Oscar award like WOW a 10/10. In my opinion I feel like these Turkish series are high quality than American series in my opinion like they can get you emotional, the story can be interesting to you wanting to see more of the episodes to learn more about the history.

That's the first time I ever created an account to rate an TV series, but this series is deserving of every honour. It's Characters, production, direction, plot, excitement, tension, turns, action, and historical authenticity makes it superior than other historical series. With a gifted cast that is doing it part in marvellous way and the acting is also excellent.
I can't recommend this series enough, and it has earned a place on my list of all-time favourites. I'm thankful for the experience, and the Sultan Mehmed Fatihler crew and actors have done a fantastic job. Do yourself a favour and watch this right away if you enjoy good television!
I want to say that they should also show the conquest with full description like every aspect of it and they should take time in VFX and CGI. They should not end it or just finish it early because of ratings. They should also continue series after the conquest of Constantinople showing his other victories. I am sure that it will get the appreciation it deserves.
Best wishes and kind compliments to the whole crew and production.

It showcases the peak of Ottoman and Islamic history, featuring both an extraordinary hero and an equally compelling villain, with the perfect blend of action, strategy, and complex storytelling. A show that can be considered not just a historical drama but an epic masterpiece that surpasses even the most popular and acclaimed series in its genre. Based on your description, this review will center on a series that truly captures the grandeur and spirit of its time - a show that sets a new standard for historical narratives.
A True Masterpiece: The Ultimate Historical Drama
The series, depicting the glory of the Ottoman Empire and the height of Islamic civilization, stands out as an unparalleled work in the realm of historical dramas. What makes it exceptional is not just its attention to historical details but its profound ability to humanize historical figures, making both the hero and the villain equally captivating. The hero is portrayed as a powerful and visionary leader, embodying the virtues of justice, bravery, and faith, while the villain is no less remarkable, providing a formidable challenge that elevates the story to new heights.
The series perfectly captures the grandeur of the Ottoman era, illustrating the empire's unmatched military strategies, complex court politics, and the cultural richness of the time. The tension between the protagonist and antagonist is palpable, making every confrontation an intense battle of wits and strength. This interplay of power, strategy, and ideology is what sets the show apart, giving it a depth and gravitas that surpasses most other famous series in the genre.
A Portrayal of Islamic History at Its Zenith
What truly elevates this series is its commitment to portraying not only the political and military prowess of the Ottomans but also the broader significance of Islamic culture and values at its peak. Unlike other historical dramas that focus solely on battles and conquests, this series delves deep into the philosophical and spiritual dimensions of leadership, highlighting how faith and governance were intertwined in the shaping of empires.
The portrayal of the Sultan is exceptional - he is not just a conqueror or a ruler but a deeply spiritual figure whose actions are driven by a sense of divine purpose and responsibility. His vision for the empire goes beyond territorial expansion; he seeks to create a state that embodies the ideals of justice, knowledge, and unity. This is depicted with such nuance and attention to detail that the audience cannot help but be inspired by his journey.
Hero and Villain: The Perfect Counterbalance
In many historical dramas, the hero often overshadows the antagonist, making the conflict feel one-sided. But in this series, the villain is just as compelling as the hero. He is not merely an obstacle to be overcome but a character with depth, intelligence, and his own vision of the world. His motivations are clear, and his actions are driven by a desperate desire to protect his own people and legacy. This complexity makes the central conflict more engaging, as it is not simply a matter of good versus evil but a clash of two equally powerful forces.
The interactions between the hero and villain are some of the most gripping moments in the series. Each encounter is laden with tension and unpredictability, making the audience genuinely uncertain about the outcome. This balance between hero and antagonist keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats, making the series a thrilling watch from start to finish.
Exceptional Production Quality and Realism
The production quality of this series is on a different level compared to most historical dramas. From the majestic palaces and bustling cities to the intricately designed armor and weaponry, every detail has been meticulously crafted to transport the audience back to the glory days of the Ottoman Empire. The battle scenes, in particular, are a testament to the show's commitment to authenticity and realism. The choreography, use of period-accurate tactics, and sheer scale of the confrontations make each battle sequence a spectacle in its own right.
But beyond the visuals, the show excels in creating an atmosphere that reflects the cultural and spiritual richness of the era. The music, dialogue, and even the smallest gestures of the characters are imbued with meaning, giving the series an almost poetic quality. It's a world where faith, power, and destiny intersect, and every episode leaves a lasting impression.
A New Standard for Historical Dramas
What sets this series apart from other acclaimed shows is its ability to transcend the typical historical narrative. It is not just a recounting of battles and political maneuvers but a deep exploration of the human spirit, leadership, and the responsibilities that come with power. The series raises profound questions about ambition, faith, and legacy, making it a thought-provoking experience that resonates on multiple levels.
The hero's journey, from a young and ambitious leader to a wise and just ruler, is portrayed with such depth that it becomes almost mythic in its impact. His struggles, both internal and external, are depicted with a realism that makes him relatable despite his larger-than-life status. Similarly, the villain's evolution is handled with equal care, making the audience empathize with his plight even as they root for the hero's victory.
Conclusion: A Must-Watch for All Audiences
In conclusion, this series is a must-watch for anyone, regardless of their interest in history or the Ottoman Empire. It transcends its genre to become a universal tale of ambition, power, and the eternal struggle between good and evil. It not only highlights the peak of the Ottoman Empire but also serves as a tribute to the ideals and values that defined the Islamic world at its height. With its brilliant storytelling, exceptional performances, and breathtaking visuals, this series is truly a perfection brought to another level. It's a show that every viewer should experience, as it sets a new benchmark for what historical dramas can achieve.
