First, this is the first of a series of books and part of the death game genre made famous by Battle Royale. The writer for the adult novels is a screenwriter here. I believe this is the first of the movies in the Werewolf Games series.

Second. There are no werewolves. I guess it is metaphorical.

Third, do not watch it looking for sense or logic. Like most second-rate horror the deeds of the participants make no sense.

I was particularly disappointed because as much as the girls are Japanese and unlike their Western counterparts do not pack cellulite, fat, tattoos and nose rings, they barely show any skin. The minis are nice and reveal what nature bestowed these beautiful specimens but where is the nudity or sexual action? Ten teenagers holed up together and clearly in a dorming situation and no natural actions? What a waste of beauty. As is, the minis are sexy because the girls are feminine and not Western trash, but that is it.

I like werewolf theme story, but you should give an effect or explanation when someone was killed. i mean at least in the end of story. i play this games a lot, but in this movie WHAT YOU WANT TO DELIVER, IS NOT DELIVER IN THIS MOVIE. ceritamu tidak tersampaikan dengan baik ke penontonnya. i don't even know what's role of nishina airi was. :(
  • You might think, it's just a low budget but neat werewolf movie. But I say: THAT'S WRONG!

I did it, I watched the whole thing. Beginning to the end. And in conclusion I have nothing good to say about this movie. Everything, starting from the flat characters to the uninteresting and predictable plot line, is bad about this movie.

The movie starts of with the main character chatting with a friend. The camera shows us her screen for I don't know how long. It feels like eternity, nothing happens. The camera just keeps filming the chat window and everything is happening way to slow.

Then there are no interesting sound effects or background music in this movie. Everything just happens and a slow boring pace. I guess you could argue that it's the style the movie goes with, but it's just personal preference. I prefer if an interesting atmosphere is built in some way. This movie just doesn't have an atmosphere at all.

I'm gonna watch the other movies in this series and I really hope that they are better.
  • Have to admit this movie is not perfect. The premise and storyline is the same as the manga upon which it is based. There are several liberties taken with the plot but these liberties seem to have positively affected the movie. Airi Nishina is not a relatable character, she isn't strong or very smart. She spends most of her time in an emotional wreck; but her being in such a condition is what allows her to survive for so long. "The perpetrator" or the people/persons behind the curtains are the ones who are controlling everything. This movie isn't a tale of 'watch how the main character overcomes each obstacle and emerges victorious'. The main character is just put into a difficult situation, a situation that she has very little control over, and is forced to watch what unfolds. It isn't a story of one person but the whole lot of them.
