Grace is enjoying a well earned weekend off, taking Bruno to the football, unfortunately the excitement is broken by news of a bomb in the stadium.
Grace is now such an important show, it's pretty much the last of the Sunday 2 hour shows, we've lost Vera and Mcdonald & Dodds recently, nothing else seems to be coming through.
Craig Parkinson is notable by his absence, but in fairness Norman's absence is explained.
I thought this was an excellent start to the new series, I thoroughly enjoyed it, I loved the storyline, the tension, the characters and so much more.
For the first thirty minutes of this one, I was well and truly on tenterhooks, it was heart in the mouth viewing, as someone that does go to the football on a regular basis, the realisation that something like that could happen is very unsettling.
I absolutely loved the dynamic between Cleo and Bruno, such a big part of the storyline.
Glenn felt very much like the character from the book, looking very dapper, loved that jacket.
I may be wrong, but I think the stadium used was Plough Lane, I've been there twice, I think it is, the home of Wimbledon.
8/10.

- TriviaThe "Hotel Lenore" is, in reality, the Queen's Hotel, situated between Kings Road and the A259, just west of the Brighton Pier.
- GoofsThe police are tracking via CCTV the woman in the green coat as she leaves the hotel. She proceeds in an easterly direction. They then remark that she changed her mind, where she is then spotted returning to the hotel 3 minutes later from the west, yet no mention is made that she had turned around to go west, either by reversing direction or circumnavigating the hotel, either of which would have been seen on CCTV. Not one detective notices that she returns to the hotel from the opposite direction from which she left. Additionally, one of the detectives, not two minutes later, states that "the devil's in the details. Everything matters." Yet no one noticed a possible inconsistency in basic geography.
