Allison is a bright spirited musician, full of life, with a recent need for excitement and adventure. One reason for this is that her husband, Ira, a successful television writer, has spent the last few years molding himself into a daily routine that is safe, predictable...and rather boring. Allison believes they need something new and exciting in their lives, while Ira shrugs the idea off. One day, however, Allison gets her wish...though it is not in any form she had in mind. Ira and Allison awaken in their apartment one morning to discover a murdered dead body in their living room! With no idea as to who the person is (or was, rather), or any clue as to how it got their and who killed him, Ira and Allison set out on a wild and chaotic ride to figure out the mystery behind this "adventure".
