When five DEA agents are murdered in the Corpus Christi office, Kim, Lisbon Cho and Patrick investigate the case. Patrick Jane finds a security camera hidden behind a mirror in the office and they see three gangsters killing the agents. The DEA Agent Higgins believe the Gulf Coast Ring gang, whose leader is unknown, is responsible for the murders in retaliation to the death of the member Richie Vargas in a DEA action. Francisco 'Paco' Perez, who has connections with the Colombian Cartel, becomes the prime suspect. Patrick sees a picture of Richie with his girlfriend Krystal Markham and he decides to talk to her. Meanwhile the FBI finds the three killers murdered and learn that they are not members of the Gulf Coast Ring gang. When Patrick finds Krystal leaving a restaurant, he invites her to have dinner with him in a date, surprising Kim and Lisbon. What is Patrick's interest on Krystal?
"White Lines" is an entertaining episode of "The Mentalist". Patrick Jane requesting his coach is very funny. His romantic interest in Krystal Markham is also funny, and the twist with the witty moment when he discloses that she is indeed the person of interest is great. My vote is eight.
