The Messenger of Darkness
The Messnger (2013)

*** (out of 4)

Fun 13-minute interview with actor Robert Grasmere who talks about his work on John Carpenter's PRINCE OF DARKNESS. Grasmere talks about how he originally was hired to do some visual effects but for some reason Carpenter was interested in putting him in a small role. Grasmere talks about how amazed he was when this small role turned out to become something rather big because his part as the "messenger" ended up being in the trailer and TV spots. If you're a fan of the film then you're going to want to watch this interview as it really gives you a great idea of what was going on behind-the-scenes. It's also rather fun to see someone simply being so happy that they were just given a job and then it turned into something like this. Grasmere certainly comes across as very likable and he certainly keeps you entertained throughout the running time.
