The cheesy 70's style horror movie planing on the TV in the main characters house was also made as part of the production of The Ghost in the Road". It was completed as a standalone short film entitled "Barnyard Butcher" and screened at the premiere. The filmmakers went to great lengths so that the film could actually be played back with the vintage TV on set, instead of using VFX screen replacements. The villain (Bully the Butcher) was played by one of the directors, Aaron Tharp.
