  • In a world where Trump is president of USA, Brexit dominates the headlines, our newspapers in the hands of the wealthy few and our floundering government has no worthy opposition it would be great to hear some thing different. The Last Leg at least offers that. Democracy should allow different voices -even if you don't like what is being said. Oh, and it it isn't our licence fee being wasted. It's not on the BBC.
  • Josh widdicombe, Adam hills and Alex Brooker and 2 other guests create a funny atmosphere on a Friday night. It's full of witty jokes and humour and fun guests. It started off with a show on the paralympics but now it is a humorous Friday night show with hilarious moments making fun of the weeks news and taking feedback live from Twitter!

    10/10
    Ha ha
I like when they think they're really funny but often they're not
  • I find the show Really funny and good to see more disabled people on TV. It's great to see them able to talk about disability and disabled issues. Their personal and political views won't be for everyone but I agree with them and find it very funny.

On a Friday night witch is good very funny guests every time I watch it not just an ordinary show they heavily take the p**s out of each other but very good and hilarious.
  • I'm giving it a one and even then that's generous. This used to be a genuinely funny show with stinging satire which would attack anyone and anything on the political spectrum without fear. Now though it's just become a mouthpiece for lefty propaganda which attacks anyone who voted Trump or voted for Brexit as being completely evil without highlighting the ills of their own side as well. As a result of this, anything that's funny about it is undercut by having to sit through an hour of condescending smugness and self- superiority from the political left. In summary, what was once a brilliant show with stinging political satire has turned into a mouthpiece for the left to bully and patronise anybody who thinks differently to them, and this now makes the show virtually unwatchable.

I really enjoy the show and love seeing people with disabilities on the TV. So many other reviews rate it 1 or 2 stars because they are annoyed that the hosts have a different political opinion then them and hate when their bigotry is pointed out.
  • This show started off as promoting and celebrating disabled sport and its participants. It has since changed its main focus to being a left- wing propaganda outlet that talks down to and labels everyone who's to the right of the Labour Party as idiots, racists, bigots etc. The hosts (particularly Adam Hills) have become increasingly arrogant.

Used to be funny, but it's been infected by the virus of social justice/identity politics. Give it a miss.

The show used to be good and funny but it has become painful to watch. It wouldn't be half as bad if they acknowledged the obvious bias but instead they kind of pretend to be impartial satire while excusing or ignoring any negative side of Corbyn, the labour party or the remain campaign, applauding any positive even if flawed or down right wrong and insulting anyone who doesn't 100% agree. The lack of balance is off putting.
  • After being tricked into watching an episode of this I was faced with a few questions - such as who the hell chooses watches this? Why is it on TV? Is it supposed to be funny?

The Big Narstie Show is on after on C4 and Big Narstie, a grime artist, is funnier than these three put together. Josh Widdicombe in particular is just cringeworthy unfunny. This show sums up everything that is wrong with modern-day British TV comedy. Truly awful!

This show is utter rubbish, just constant politicking and conservative bashing, I just want to be entertained not lectured. You cant watch anything on TV anymore without you being taught your opinions are wrong if you support this thing or that. Social engineering at its finest.
  • The best thing I can say about the show is they get good guests although sometimes they don't get to say much.

Hills is a generic host. He's not funny. He comes off as someone who won a contest to host and he's trying really hard to be cheerful and deliver his lame hacky jokes.

Brooker seems to be there so they can make constant jokes about people with disabilities.

Brooker and Widdecombe's main purpose is to provide fake laughter for Hills. Their constant cracking up at everything that comes out of Hills' mouth becomes distracting because you know they don't find it that hilarious. Besides, it's mostly scripted and you know they've heard that crap in rehearsals.

They also do written sketches sometimes that are just embarrassing.

Used to be the program on a Friday by a mile. But it's just gone too far left wing. Watch and enjoy the humour but if you can ignore the politics you may enjoy.
  • Early on, as an accompaniment to The 2012 Paralympics on Ch4, this was fresh, edgy, new, irreverent, even brilliant. Political and social comment that cut like a knife, no quarter was given or expected. Now it's more like too much effort for very little return. It's boring!

Adam Hill's grin is so obviously forced, like he's just thinking of his Aussie audience maybe? Gotta sell more tickets on the homecoming tour, right Adam?

Josh Widicombe is a pure spaz, and he's the only one not disabled in some way, apart from his personality that is. His constant sniping at and bullying of Alex is embarrassing and painful to watch. It's always the small guys, isn't it? Whenever one of the others is on a roll he just has to interrupt the flow. You jealous of the funny people, Josh?

Alex Brooker carries the show, is the only one still displaying the sharp wit that used to be a benchmark of this once excellent series. At least he's started fighting back against Josh, which is well overdue.

The 'celebrity' guests may as well not be on there, it's not like they get much of a chance to actually say anything, and if they do then they just get ridiculed for it (the Josh factor again).

If I was a producer I'd get rid of Josh, and possibly Adam, and bring in some fresh blood. There's an ex paralympian, Ade Adepitan who's smart and witty, a really fun guy who'd fit the bill. Alex has earned his place in the show, although that may not be enough to save it. As Channel 4 gets more banal and obsessed with C list celebrity culture it seems like it's taken its eye off the stuff that made it; being different and breaking the rules. Sad days.

Although still one of the most popular shows on the channel, I suspect it's because of an audience still loyal to the early days, but for how long?

UPDATE 4/4/17 If I didn't know better I'd say that the producers have read my review? Josh is being nice, Adam is funny again, the guests are getting to actually speak. Hope it lasts.
  • Used to be funny but they just spend their time bashing GB, telling us how bad we are at everything and how good Australia is. Adam Hill should've stayed in Oz as Lorraine Kelly was marginally funnier and certainly less arrogant. The latest episode had him say that he told his daughter, after she asked him why he's coming back here, that the people needed cheering up. Well thanks but no thanks, we can do without your diatribes. In addition he also said that he didn't have to quarantine on the way back to GB because why would you wipe your feet on the way into a muddy puddle (!). Series link deleted.
  • What can I say about this. Absolutely rubbish! Not funny, not clever, nothing.

Never normally in on a Friday and now I know why.

The host is simply terrible, no charisma, not funny and annoying!

Might pick up the dog poo in the garden which will be much more entertaining!

What used to be a fantastic Friday night program has dissolved into this left wing, biased dribble. I have voted Labour for over 50 years, no fan of the Tories at all, but this program is not fit for purpose now, You manipulate videos( the Sunak on the car door handle one), i have seen a original so know the truth, you make a lie basically to air your views. As for your guests. They just pander to your views!!! Utterly pointless!!!, What once was a brilliant series has descended in to a Tory bashing, self centred pile of crap which is a disgrace to any broadcasting station. It needs to be taken off air. This rant is coming from a life long Labour supporter, tells you something surly?
  • Good format but the continual left wing / woke bias does it no favours at all. The presenters are so happy to shut down any view that doesn't align with their own, I'm surprised they haven't been approached to anchor a satire show in North Korea.
  • The usual woke, lefty, lecturing, virtue-signalling BS that clogs up TV schedules now. This particular one has the added bonus of not being particularly funny, despite the best efforts of the "comedians" presenting it and their echo chamber guests. Drivel. Avoid.

I use to love this show but all its filled with is Adam Hills over inflated ego and constant political bashing of the conservatives! It's utter garbage now.
  • Disgraceful, transparent, disgusting crap!

They dont even try to hide it!

Adam Shills has clearly been 'bought', his rhetoris is horrendous, it couldnt be more obvious that he drinks from the elitists cup!

Man, so lame, and so easy to see through!

With the horrible tyranny going on in his home nationm you would think he would speak out against it?

    Nope! Nothing! Not a peep!

    Disgusting, leftist crap!

    Traitorous creature!
  • Not too dissimilar from The Project. Hosts trying to be funny whilst delivering news with a left wing bent. Laugh at each others unfunny jokes and repartee. Deeply unedifying and a tough show to sit through.
  • 3 guys, 2 are disabled, ones a ginger (uh?) sit and chat about current affairs. The ginger laughs at every fifth word, uttered by the host (Hills) and its kind of like watching a sitcom, when you are TOLD when to laugh! But lately (2021) It has just become a 'take the covid vaccine tool' show, scripted, pathetic, parroting the BS mainstream narrative! The host Adam hills (aussie, go figure!..) Is obviously being paid well, because he literally has no idea what is going on with the SCAMdemic, and what the endgame is! He just parrots the mainstream crap, without a second thought! Tool! It's not even funny! We have the MSM news to do that for us! Shame on you Adam! Just say no!
