The Viking Babe Katana was originally played by Joanna Häggblom in the trailer. Because Häggblom was not available to shoot additional footage, she was replaced by Helene Ahlson in the final print. The scene of Katana calling Thor by the lake is altered with videotape wear effects to obscure the change of actresses. The scene of Häggblom carrying a boom box in front of a DeLorean is retained in the film's opening sequence.

Triceracop:

Tyrannosaurus:
Teamwork is very important.
Thor:
So...
Though set in 1985, while fighting the evil arcade machine, Kung Fury was thrown out into outer space and hit the Hubble Space Telescope, which was launched in 1990.
