The writer/producer/director of the film, Jeremy Long, decided on the title of the film after actor and friend Henry Winkler told Jeremy that he lives life by two words: Tenacity and Gratitude. Jeremy felt Henry's motto for life fit Frank Cotolo's life story well and officially made it the title of the documentary.
Luck plays a great part on anyone's success because nobody can pave their way, or carve their way, to being however famous, popular or successful they become. That's my philosophy.
In the end credits for the film, director Jeremy Long is credited with almost every aspect of the film. Some credits are true, while others are made up. The director did this as a joke in tribute to Olsen and Johnson, who did a similar joke in their credits for their hit film Crazy House.
