A family of people who have long since departed from the world lives in the deep taiga: Polina, Prokhor and their twenty-two-year-old granddaughter Efrosinya ...
Efrosinya grew up in the taiga, miraculously survived after a helicopter crash. Prokhor and Polina raised and educated her away from people and civilization, according to the laws of the taiga and God. They love Euphrosyne very much and try to pass on to her all their knowledge and skills: hunting, fishing, faith. The only thing that worries them is what will happen to Euphrosyne after their death, because it will be hard for her alone in the taiga, and the human world is so cruel. And then one day a group of geologists gets to them, which takes the girl to the city, where Frosa has to get used to new people, a new life.
