Madam Secretary jumped the shark
I have watched and thoroughly enjoyed Madam Secretary since its inception in 2014 but with last evening's (March 17, 2019) climate change episode it has "jumped the shark" for me. I think Téa Leoni is a very fine actor, as are most of the supporting cast; however, I cannot abide a show that so blatantly promotes the false climate change agenda and vows that America is responsible for all the bad weather events in the world because Americans burn fossil fuel. I lost a lot of respect for the show and the actors last night. If these people understood that the southern hemisphere is warming because of changes in the Milankovitch cycles, that volcanic subsidence is a natural and inevitable process on coral islands and that drought in the American southwest is a result of the Pacific Ocean offshore being too cold - among many other things of which they are clearly ignorant - they would refuse to partake in so shamelessly promoting this fake science agenda. What a sad demise to a show that has until now been so good.
