Sex & Nudity

  • A man and woman are about to start taking their clothes off but are interrupted early on.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is attacked by a ghost and his arm is badly burned. He is later seen in shock.
  • A ghost jumps on top of a man, gouging his eyes and killing him.
  • A woman is driving and a ghost punches its arm through her chest. She spits up blood and dies.
  • A possessed man swallows a dirty sock, has his nose broken, and kills himself by stabbing himself in the eye with a fireplace poker.
  • One bloody shotgun murder (the character's head explodes, splattering blood on the camera).
  • Two very bloody and violent stabbings. A woman is seen lying on the floor in a pool of blood with a steak knife in her side. Another woman is attacked and stabbed in the neck with kitchen knives; blood spurts everywhere and she dies.
  • Multiple scenes of ghosts attacking and killing people in gory ways (burning them to death, pulling them into the floor, etc). At the end of the killing spree, the entire house is splattered with blood.
  • A man is attacked by a ghost who crushes his head, killing him (very gory).

Profanity

  • Several mild uses of profanity ("damn", etc). As well as 11 F bombs.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man is seen rolling a joint, and other characters later mention his marijuana habit (calling him a "stoner").
  • Scenes of characters drinking alcohol (sometimes heavily) throughout, as well as verbal references to drinking. The main characters are often seen drinking scotch in their home, and several scenes also take place in a pub where people are drinking and smoking cigarettes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Multiple intense, suspenseful scenes of people being stalked and attacked both by ghosts and by other human characters.
  • A scene where a character is violently possessed and speaking in a demonic voice will probably frighten younger viewers.
  • The overall tone of the film is very tense and scary. Although younger viewers and more sensitive viewers will probably find it frightening, many of the film's most violent scenes are shot in an over-the-top "campy" style, so it will probably not be too frightening for adult viewers.
