The plot was a bit thin.

Mervin investigates the death of Susie Montagu, the owner of a beauty brand, a woman with allergies, something there killer took full advantage of.

Every season has a below par episode, and for me, this is it, I didn't particularly care for this one. Some nice ideas, but just didn't really work, Selwyn was grumpy throughout, the mystery was a bit thin, and just too much silliness.

I'm enjoying the plot of Mervin's mother's death, if only they'd focused on that.

It's a little too comedic for me this one, why have they had to have Mervin behaving like a buffoon, up until this point he'd been a serious Brit abroad, and there are just no words for Sebastian, why have they made him such a clown, he's just irritating, he makes Ruby look like Inspector Morse.

Best scene had to be Catherine giving Selwyn both barrells, he well and truly deserved it, the ending was decent, the problem was the chunk in the middle.
