There are many ways to skin a cat -- in this case, auto restoration and custom design. "Loud n' Fast" is funny and believable. "Rods 'n' Wheels" is hard to swallow -- I have trouble believing the owner's son knows so little about cars and car repair.
"Lords of the Car Hoards" presents Chuck Palumbo and Rick Dore as, well... psychologists trying to help people with hoarding problems. The hoarders are so unwilling to give up their property that Chuck and Rick are obliged to gently guide them along. (In one case, they fail.) It's nice to see people change their lives for the better. This adds a sweetness missing from the other shows.
I can't believe two of the three people who posted reviews actually think the people in this program are actors, and should be replaced with "better" performers! No wonder this country is so screwed up.
