  • Warning: Spoilers
The dialogue doesn't sound forced, which is a rarity for low budget films without name actors. One big issue though is that all the main characters are morally repugnant with one exception. This makes it hard to root for them.

Tyler, the protaganist, is not the exception. His need to have Camille the moment he meets her despite his budding romance with her also hot roommate disqualifies him as a serious person worthy of respect. He and Laura both start off as very sympathetic characters, but in the end everyone except Sarah is hopelessly selfish and untrustworthy.

Was watchable but in the end you felt like no one learned anything.

Avoid at all costs. It is terrible. Unrealistic script and dialogue, bad acting and characterizations, and just all around bad filmmaking. A lot of telling not showing, too. The main character is especially grating. Watch it for half an hour to learn how NOT to make a movie. Then go and do the opposite.
  • The direction is ok, the acting is sub par and it makes the script sound worse than it is. The women look great ---if you're going to have a character cry for a portion of the film, it should be convincing and the problem should be worth crying about. "Fake" crying is always thoroughly annoying. I was able to finish the film...good luck to all involved: I have a funny feeling there's more to come from y'all.
  • This production is chock full of all the porn quality acting and plot points one could hope for, without any of those annoying porn quality sex scenes.

Technically, the women in the film acted well above the quality of the parts they were given, while the two male leads fell squarely within the limitations and poor quality of the characters they played.

It's almost as if the two men had written this film themselves, based purely on their lackluster sex lives, and misinformed fantasies of what real relationships consist of.

If you choose to watch it, keep the remote handy, because the impulse will fade almost immediately.

... except good writing, an engaging story, and people who can act. I have to admit, though, that I did laugh out loud a couple of times, but it was at the cringe worthy writing, and grade school acting. In short, it was a porn movie, without the porn.
  • FRIENDS is a witty, clever, and ribald take on modern relationships. The film's characters situations are realistic, the situations utterly relatable….and the sex scenes are hot, to boot. If Woody Allen was making a sex and relationship charged indie film in 2017, FRIENDS EFFING FRIENDS is what he's make. Recommended!
