The Incredibles hero family takes on a new mission, which involves a change in family roles: Bob Parr (Mr Incredible) must manage the house while his wife Helen (Elastigirl) goes out to save the world.
Several scenes involving the Screenslaver include rapidly flashing lights, which raised concerns for potential seizures. As a result, many theaters began showing warnings for viewers who were susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy. The U.K. version on general release removed the warnings, although preview screenings in June (including for Cineworld Unlimited subscribers) used the original version. It was only re-edited overseas after public outcry from American viewers, who saw it a month earlier on June 15, instead of July 13.
I hate superheroes, and I renounce them!
The cameras shown in the TV program segment are a black and white model, but the broadcast is in colour.
There is a dedication in the closing credits "This film is dedicated to the SUPER FAMILIES and friends whose love & support keep us strong."
The UK cinema version was re-edited prior to release to reduce strobe effects that had caused epilepsy issues upon its US release. This version passed the Harding Test.
