Honestly, I'm not a hater of the anime. I'm one of the few people who actually watches the anime and enjoys it despite the hate the anime received. Though a lot of people may have different opinions about the bad plot, dialogue and character designs, I don't really have much hate for it. But I do have some things to protest, be it good or bad.

Content: Trying to squeeze an entire 20+ hours of gameplay into 12 episodes is really not enough! Like what is mentioned, a lot of unanswered questions and. If you are willing to watch the anime, just to let you know, the anime is just a simplified version of the game. Only the main points of the game is summarized into that 12 episodes. If you want to know more about DMMD, its best to play the game itself first then watch the anime by all means.

Character Design: There are a bit of changes in the character design. Aoba looks so much different, same goes for other characters. But IMO, its not all that bad. (Lets just ignore the mistake they made for episode 3.)

Dialogue: Some dialogues are cringy. For example; I'm going inside you..When you were inside me, etc. It made me laugh and cringe at the same time and they were not even doing what I thought they were doing. If you know what I mean...

Music: I love the OST they used in the anime. I do have a bit of mixed feelings about the opening music and closing music but after a while, I got used to it. Just hoped the would use at least some of the OST from the game though.

    Plot:

The game has both bad and good endings. However, the anime only displays the good endings. In the anime, when I first watched it, I kinda got lost in the plot. I know its not easy trying to make an anime out of a game like this. But honestly instead of berating I really appreciate the fact that they took time and effort making an anime. But yeah, like I mentioned, lack of content. I just wished there was more.. Not to mention they were no boy-to-boy love at all in the anime. Some people may feel it, but I honestly dont feel any love between Aoba and the guys. There was a kiss between Aoba and Noiz but that meant nothing. It really kept the audience with high hopes and wanting for more but ended up with nothing. I was excited too but man, was I disappointed..

I can understand if they hate the anime. But as for me, I'm just trying to look at the bright side and good stuff about the anime as much as I can.

Overall, I give it a 7/10. Just my opinion. I might miss out a few points but this is all I can say. I hope others would write down their thoughts too.

If you are not patient enough to reach the sixth episode (meaning spend over an hour), don't even start. Everything that happens until the fifth episode is fast, exciting and mysterious but with no closures! Many things happened and let you hanging, others are like you skipped an episode. Personally, when I got what all this was about I decided I wasn't interested and that's why I rated it with 4 (for wasting my time). But it's graphics and writing are good. If you are patient and the concept earn you you will probably like it (although I don't know the ending to support this theory). Personally, I think 12 episodes are not enough to conclude such a deep story. Up to episode 6 there were so many questions unanswered that it would take at least 24 I think. Please share your thoughts with the rest.
