The long-in-the-works Freddie Mercury biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” is finally in production after years of development, and “Mr. Robot” Emmy winner Rami Malek is the man at the center. The actor is bringing the Queen frontman to the big screen in the film directed by Bryan Singer. Sasha Baron Cohen was previously attached to star in the movie.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” follows Queen from their creation in 1970, when Mercury teamed with Brian May and Roger Taylor, to the band’s iconic 1985 performance at Live Aid. Mercury’s battle with AIDS won’t be a plot point in the movie.

“Mr. Robot” is taking a cue from The Cure this season. Sam Esmail has said that, while the show’s sophomore season was about revolution, the next round of episodes centers around the theme of disintegration. A new clip teasing Season 3 offers a sense of what to expect from that. Watch below.

Elliot has survived a prison stint and a possibly fatal gunshot wound, but “Mr. Robot” just showed that he’s nowhere near being out of the woods yet.

If you’re a fan of HBO’s “The Leftovers,” then you definitely are familiar with Margaret Qualley. The 22-year-old actress spent three seasons as Jill Garvey, the angsty teenage daughter of Justin Theroux’s character, but Qualley is about to become a major indie breakthrough with the upcoming release of “Novitiate.”

Marking the feature debut of Margaret Betts, the movie premiered to acclaim at Sundance earlier this year, where IndieWire raved, “Despite its 123-minute runtime, the film is impeccably edited and packed with such rich storytelling that it never lags. The film is Betts’ feature-length narrative debut and it’s a strong vehicle for showing off her formidable talents.”
“Novitiate” stars Qualley as Cathleen, a starry-eyed teenager who is training to become a nun. Her allegiance and faith are tested under the stern eye of Melissa Leo’s Reverend Mother.

“Law & Order” is getting ready to meet “American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Eli Roth hasn’t really had a hit as a director in quite some time. His last two efforts, “Knock Knock” and “The Green Inferno,” came and went from theaters without much fan fare, but that probably won’t be the case for the director’s next movie. Roth is resurrecting “Death Wish,” the film series that started in 1974 and made a movie icon out of Charles Bronson, and he’s getting some help from Bruce Willis.

The actor will be returning to his hard-hitting action roots as Paul Kersey, a mild-mannered father who becomes a stone cold killing machine after his wife is murdered and his daughter is raped and left in a coma. The original “Death Wish” series included four films released between 1974 and 1994, all of which starred Bronson as Kersey. The remake co-stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Dean Norris, Kimberly Elise, and Mike Epps.
The most surprising part about “Death Wish” might just be that it’s being distributed by Annapurna Pictures, the indie powerhouse behind such titles as “Her,” “Zero Dark Thirty,” “American Hustle,” and this weekend’s “Detroit.” The movie marks their biggest genre push to date. MGM is handling international distribution.
“Death Wish” opens in theaters November 22. Watch the first trailer below.

To say that Peter Capaldi had big boots to fill upon joining Doctor Who as the famous Time Lord may read as something of an understatement. But even after winning over most, if not all of the naysayers by the series 9 finale, the Scottish actor still felt intimidated when approaching the show’s tenth season.
Capaldi, who is preparing to bid adieu to the Tardis and everything it represents, has gone on record multiple times about his impending swan song. As part of The Finale Countdown souvenir magazine – a fan-friendly keepsake that was given to those fans in attendance at Saturday’s The Finale Countdown Concert and Aftershow in Cardiff’s Millennium Centre – the actor reflected on his career as the Twelfth Doctor and, in particular, the more challenging scenes of him wielding that famous Sonic Screwdriver.

M. Night Shyamalan was once the devil prince of the movie twist, mischievously upending audiences’ expectations with increasingly contrived plot devices which retroactively flooded his films with new meaning. Breaking point arrived with The Village – not because the twist was a bad one, but because its central conceit needn’t have been a twist. His rep had reached the point of self-parody. And then we lost him down the rabbit hole.
Thankfully, the auteur returned to form with 2013’s The Visit, his first collaboration with the increasingly vital Blumhouse Productions. Turns out it’s a marriage made in haunted heaven. Split is the better movie, and one that doesn’t need any dusting for its author’s prints.

It’s fitting that the latest installment of Dancing With the Stars was the series’ annual Disney week, because some routines were absolute beauties, while others were complete beasts.

Still others, like an exuberant Kim Fields and a stately Von Miller, found their inner zip-a-dee-doo-dah and turned in performances that greatly improved upon previous weeks’ showings.

The BBC won't make any more series of The Musketeers after the third and final ten-episode run, it's been confirmed...
Following creator and showrunner Adrian Hodges' candidly worded departure ("I was totally knackered") from The Musketeers after series two, it's been confirmed that Porthos, Aramis, Athos and D'Artagnan will be hanging up their swords following the third run.
Ten new episodes of the BBC One action and adventure series, due to return to screens shortly, will bring the story to a conclusion. Executive Producer Jessica Pope promises that series three "will delight its fans and pay off everything they have come to love about the show." No chance of a shock-cancellation cliff-hanger there then, at least.
Digital Spy has some goodbye messages from castmembers Luke Pasqualino, Howard Charles, Tom Burke and Santiago Cabrera, all of whom express their thanks to fans and appreciation at having been part of the show.
