| The Humble Spouse
A woman who has faithfully supported her husband's literary success by quietly taking care of the small things that make him shine begins to examine her role when he is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Glenn Close gives a wonderful performance in this film. She did an amazing job playing this stoic role of a humble wife. The story was well written. I guess that my only complaint would be the settings. I didn't find the settings to be very engaging. It may be that the settings were meant to be understated to help bring out the mundane in Glenn Close's character's life. Regardless, it was something I noticed.

My final thoughts are that this film is a look at advantageous relationships that are unbalanced. Why is that ok? Is it due to admiration, love, or altruism? If you are looking for a movie that explores these issues this film is it.
