This movie gives me chills! I'm glad that it's longer than the first one. It's terrifying when you think that this is currently happening to our journalists :( What a cruel world we live in.

This astounded me and really, left me wondering why no one is talking about this. A 6 part miniseries that can be seen in HBO GO, it remastered the 2013 movie to 2 parts and continued the story line with Sisoy played by the great Jon Arcilla.

Some of the characters like Acosta ( Joey Marquez) and Senator ( Leo Martinez) were called back to render continuity to the story of hired killers.

I love the gradual awakenings of Sisoy and Roman as the story progressed , to explain their motives and realizations. Commendable also are the little details ( example Weng not being allowed to view the CCTV) that make the story telling almost true to life.

Completely satisfied with the ending as well. I hope more Filipinos get to see this.

This is my 100th review for Filipino films.
  • Incredible performance by Arcilla, this movie depicts corruption in politics, police, media, watched 3 episodes on HBO Go...to be continued...
  • This is probably one of the best Filipino movies I've seen in decades. From acting, to the story, the production value, and overall presentation I totally salute the director for crafting this film.

Unfortunately, when I saw it on HBO Max, it was badly dubbed. The alternate audio comes with description for hearing impaired. I think the original audio give more impact to the actor's performance.

Perhaps I'll wait for the Blu-ray release and rewatch it. I highly recommend this film.
