  • One of Jonathan Morgan's lesser comedy efforts, "Caught!" develops a simple situation, that of female private investigators entrapping husbands for the benefit of their divorce-seeking wives and then repeats it over and over until a ridiculously long 3-hour feature for Wicked Pictures is completed. It was difficult to suffer through, given his previous success two decades earlier with funny 70-minute comedies for the same label.

Billing reflects the dumb contract system the top porn outfits used back in profitable times (already an anachronism when this was made in 2014), so Wicked's superstar Asa Akira gets top billing over Capri Cavanni, even though CC has by far the major role (with AA serving as second banana).

The two gals work on a succession of clients with each scene unfolding identically and ending in the same way - the dumb lug getting caught in flagrante delicto by wifey, after Capri and Asa get his misbehavior down on videotape using "Nanny-cam" style hidden camera techniques.

The script keeps trotting out dumb jokes, all of which fall flat, and despite an earnest performance Capri comes off as phony and all-knowing, with her occasional mispronunciation of scripted words left in the final print. Sex scenes are mechanical and run on endlessly, and supporting cast is weak.

I enjoyed some of the NonSex roles, as lots of dialog in set-up scenes prior to the XXX action accounts for some of the movie's extreme length. Fooling me completely was plain Jane "Mrs. Switzer" as a wronged wife, who looked very familiar but I couldn't place her. End credits reveal her to be Kaylynn, who was a very sexy gonzo star at the turn of this century but less effective when returning in recent years with big tits and a MILF persona.
