Boyd Halbrook's character drops a homage piece of dialogue in the essence of "touch me again, and I'll kill you." This exact statement is said by Bruce Willis' character Joe Hallenbeck in a key scene from the film The Last Boy Scout (1991). The Predator and The Last Boy Scout were both written by Shane Black.

The first Predator in the movie comes to Earth to deliver a weapon for Humans to defend themselves. It then goes on to kill almost every Human it comes in contact with and makes no attempt at communication.
The Chinese version is heavily censored, and runs about 2 minutes shorter than the US version. It removes nearly all violence and gore, sometimes digitally erasing blood from existing scenes. In addition, nearly all profanity and sexual innuendo is either removed or alternate dialogue is used.
