A young elephant, whose oversized ears enable him to fly, helps save a struggling circus, but when the circus plans a new venture, Dumbo and his friends discover dark secrets beneath its shiny veneer.
This is the second Disney film to have a heroine named Collette, after Ratatouille (2007).
V. A. Vandevere:
Last time I checked, they invented the stairs!
The first time Dumbo flies inside the big tent, some of the clowns high-five each other. That gesture did not exist in 1919.
The first half of the closing credits has the text (including the title) zooming sightly back from 3D to 2D.
