  • "Laughs" offers something that's been sorely lacking for years on both broadcast and cable channels: An opportunity to watch up-and-coming comics who may not have made it big yet but still have tremendous talent. It's lively and fast-paced, chock full of short, funny clips from dozens of different comedians at various comedy clubs across the country. Plus, it's not all straight white guys telling jokes, which is almost always the case on Comedy Central. Rather, there's a diversity of gender, ethnicity, age and type. This show is perfect late-night viewing, especially if you've got some friends over. I hope Fox keeps the show on and does a better job of promoting it, because it deserves to have a wider audience.
