"Solitary" is a 7-minute live action short film from last year and it basically shows us a plot on how to get out a dangerous criminal. I will not further elaborate on Carlos Bernard or Tony Almeida as I have not seen the series this is based on, but why not give this little movie a shot, especially as Xander Berkeley is in it (even if it's only his voice) and I quite like him. Almost the whole thing takes place basically in an interrogation chamber apart from the end when Almeida gets a very special set of glasses. The director is Jordan Goldman, mostly an editor who won an Emmy for his work on "Homeland". The writer is Adam DaSilva, who also worked a lot on the original "24" series. Kiefer Sutherland is not in this little film here, but it may be a decent appetizer for everybody who has an interest in seeing "Live Anither Day". Still i did not enjoy this short film really that much. The action was too absurd and yet generic for my taste for action films. Or maybe you have to be a great fan of "24", the series, to enjoy this one. Thumbs down from me.
