I am appreciating European shows so much more than American because of the way that they develop the characters. These characters are quite normal looking, withouy all the cosmetic enhancements - regular people. The storyline takes center stage and we watch different generations of people learn to like each other and even go to bat for each other. These stories are interwoven with real life issues like cancer and death and I just would love to see a second season!
