| Portal to Hilarity
We saw Portal to Hell!!! at Toronto International Film Festival last night and loved all 11 minutes. It has slick and intelligent dialogue, delightful surprises, and ends with a shocking burst of energy. Readers of Lovecraft will appreciate the chants. This short is a delightful mix of soap opera and horror. The audience loved it, laughing and cheering throughout. I can't wait to see this spectacular 11 minute teaser turned into a full length feature. All the odd ball characters in this rundown apartment building are interestingly quirky but I have a special fondness for one of the old guys guarding the Portal in his bathrobe and undies.
