  • Excellent script. The film is a great example for low budget successful films. The characters are multi-dimensional and the directing along with the fantastic script made me as an audience dive in & immerse myself into the lives of both characters. Sometimes I was annoyed in a very good way that I am getting exposed to the characters' secrets, which makes the film to be a very beautiful & unique cinematic experience. If you ever wondered if strangers can bond in a short period of time more than others who have knew each others for so many years, this film is the best portrayal of such a fantastic chemistry.
  • I loved this film. So very different. Have you ever met someone who pushed all of your sharpest buttons and yet, you had to stick it out because of a mutual friend? I have. Have you ever over-shared with a stranger who sits next to you on a plane - and then - woosh! They're gone? People who like to travel and may have enjoyed these sorts of encounters will probably love this film.

Deep, philosophical and an intellectual's romance. So amazing to watch personal "guards" slide up the actor's faces and then watch those same guards come sliding back down like the Berlin Wall itself. It's an intimate portrait of two people learning to face the truths they've been hiding from themselves.

And that's all I'll say. Except I hope you get to see it.
  • Warning: Spoilers
Different than my usual taste in films. Definitely made me think about traveling and what sort of unexpected friendships happen when you are out of your element. Lead female character is good writing. She starts out so guarded and then changes over time. A friend shared it with me. Not sure how you can get a copy to see it. Doesn't look like it has distribution yet.
  • The lead actress ruined this by so obviously "acting" the part, presumably as written. The lead actor, Maximilian von Pufendorf, by contrast, came across as a handsome, interesting guy you might meet by chance in Europe, thus he seemed an accomplished actor. This plot has been done before, and better, but with a different actress in the lead it could've worked.
