  • Brad Armstrong often gets a free pass directing his so-called Blockbuster features for Wicked, mainly because so few Adult narrative features are shot at all. This one takes serious subject matter but ends up merely as exploitation.

Tyler Nixon and contract superstar Jessica Drake give good performances as a star-crossed couple with Brad's uncredited script stalls for over 3 hours before revealing the central secret that ties up the plot oh so neatly. Brad delivers a frisson moment and then ruins it with a stupid B-movie final sequence.

Atmospheric NYC location photography is a plus but redundant sex scenes between Jess and Tyler become boring. I liked the novel touch of Jess becoming infatuated with the teen son (Nixon) of her late lover (Ryan Driller) and was rooting for the red herring of incest to be the big secret.

Brandi Love is hot making love to Driller in flashback, while Brad unwisely drags the overlong feature to a screaming halt during its third hour to stage a Swingers Club orgy, mainly to show off a lengthy roster of sex stars (including Wicked girls Asa Akira and Kaylani Lei) from the credits for what should be a chamber drama.

Xander Corvus shows up uncredited humping Bonnie Rotten in a ludicrous cross-country bus scene (including her squirting all over the place), and India Summer also cameos quite effectively as an incredulous co-worker of Drake's.
