  • I always enjoy watching this show, the only real downside to it is when a character that you love ends up getting brutally dismembered or blown to bits! To me it's the absolute best of the online shows that pit pop culture characters from the world of games, movies, or anime against each other after analysing their back stories, strengths and weaknesses because it's simply the best quality one all around, the narrators are funny and informative and are fun to listen to during the information stage that takes up most of the episode, it obviously has a decent budget that allows it to put effort into animated battle sequences that try out a varied form of animation approaches, sometimes being computer generated, sometimes they opt for the pixelated 8 or 16-bit retro video game look, or even a cartoony cell-shaded style like in a recent hilarious episode that had Smokey the Bear and MGruff the Crime Dog battling it out, with MGruff eventually being squashed like a bug! Of the similar shows that Youtube has to offer I also love Super Power Beat Down, which has live-action people in cool costumes in staged battles, which works a lot better than you might think. There's also a show called Cartoon Fight Club, but if you're a fan of this show than you don't even wanna bother with that one, because it's just a very poor ripoff with cheap nasty animation, zero charm and much more exposition before the battles which is cripplingly boring! There's also DBX which is a fun little show but the episodes only run a minute of so long, so it feels a little weak and hollow, it's a lot like this show but without the meat! The combinations of battlers throughout the series are so varied that there's guaranteed to be something to pique about anyone's interest, and I love how much ground they've covered and how inventive the combinations are, they've had a Goomba going up against a Koopa, Megazord against Optimus Prime, and one of my favourites is the Lion-O vs He-Man episode, because I love that era of Saturday morning cartoons and especially the Thundercats. Anyway so if you're into seeing famous characters from your childhood and popular media duking it out in hilarious, gritty and frequently awesome fashion, this is the show to get into, it's excellently put together and is always entertaining, and always makes for some guaranteed fun! • Death Battle is a Youtube series which has one case study to put two or more characters ,usually from comics, films, video-games, anime and TV series and put them fight each other gladiator style to the death. And it rocks!

The hosts Wiz (Ben Stiller) and Boomstick (Chad James) really put themselves in to the project and they and the rest of team do their best to find almost anything about the characters in each fight and how that skill or weapon would effects the match. This in depth look ,made me love the show for it takes the silly idea of primary school and examines it in a analytical yet hilarious manner.

And thanks to this series you get to know series, video-games or films that had passed under your radar and then after watching the fight you can go and find out and enjoy it yourself. That is how I learned about Spawn the series, Gamera, Gundams and many more.

Also as for the style sometimes it in pixel form, others 3D, either way is addictive and definitely worth watching even if you disagree with the final result.

All in all is on Youtube ,it worth your time and definitely go watch them all!
  • This is my favorite webshow ever. Fights scenes are amazingly animated and choreographed. Analysis are detailed and gets me into characters I don't know. And when they need a break, they release side content to keep us entertained. They do not only simple matches, but also really creative ones. There is so much I love about the show, with the amazing voice actors, creative and talented animators, great research, and all the other smaller details that make this show an absolute joy to watch. They have their ups and down, but I mean this in all sincerity when I say I love this show to death. Can't wait to see where they go next.
  • Please make in the DEATH BATTLE future... Hulk VS Asura (Marvel VS Capcom) Death Battle!

The connections between Hulk and Asura are that they are both rage empowered anti-heroes granted unyielding strength at the detriment of their societies who often fear them for their world-breaking power only understood by their family and a noble deity (Yasha and Thor) who they often fight to prove whose stronger.

Both have progressing stages of rage seen as different forms that grant them new abilities and higher power.

Both can jump so high and effectively their often mistaken for flying Both are powered by omnipresent energy of a god which they can absorb Both are extraordinarily hard to kill being able to escape their world's version hell while being their long enough to be manipulated by eldritch beings yet to be identified.

Both are known for fighting pulp versions of ancient pantheons After fighting through allies and foes would come face to face with the one true god of their verses (Chakravartin and The One Above All) who manipulated their actions from the start splintered through avatars so they can assign them as a proxy and personal destroyer of worlds where Asura lost but attained peace submitting his rage while Hulk accepted his role in the cosmos.

Both are considered to be rage incarnate with Asura being the god of wrath while Hulk was designated by The One Above All as his wrath made flesh.
  • "Death Battle" is a cartoon series that pits our favorite fictional characters fighting to the death! What's interesting is that a lot of these battles talk about statistics. They make sure to go over the stats of each character and rate their weapons, power and physical strength. It would be easy to just have a match where two characters fight. That's what MUGEN is for! Anyway, this has two great hosts, Wiz and Boomstick.

Boy, is Boomstick a great name! This series has gotten some controversy over the years, because of people who disagree with the turnouts. These people make sure to do their research and test everything. It's hard to disagree with them. If nothing else, it can give you a great update on how your favorite characters work. My favorite is probably Bill Cipher Vs. Discord.

Oh, I have good taste! That's the highest ranked episode here too! I like how they usually use characters that are at least comparable. Some are rather bizarre, but you can always learn about them. These are basically fanfics coming to life! The animation is always so slick and just fun to look at. ****
  • Warning: Spoilers
Can Boomstick shut the eff up for once. I get it, the comedic role. But he's annoying. I would rather have a female member next to Wiz. I just think he's a wannabe funny guy. And the kind of guy I would punch in a bar. I would even be considerate, and let him order a drink. I might throat punch him. Just to stop hearing his dumbass voice. Wiz has it and is interesting. Boomstick is a Whiskey tango pos. Not funny at all. And I disagree with the "winners" John Wick would have destroyed James Bond. Regardless of who. And Eff Robocop. Too, cumbersome and not tactically proficient. I love it, yet I have my gripes. It's worth watching. Just bear with "Boomstick"! Dumbass.
