I am really liking the game! It has its tradition as far as being funny and hyped! The acting is really good too, It feels more like a drama this time around which gives it a different edge from the last time! And the characters that are back I can see their growth in the acting ability. I don't like to get spoilers so I won't but I would encourage you to watch the show and enjoy it for what it is...

Much like the game of football ... players change, teams move and life continues. This was the best show to bring back!
I am so glad they changed the format, added new cast members and switched up the storyline. I love it!!! This version is the best!!!
The original version on UPN was good. The version on was BET was okay. This version on Paramount plus rocks!!!
Episode 7 and 10 were my favorite of season 1. Hopefully, they will get renewed for season 2 and they writing will continue to be as stellar for many seasons to come.

cuteandclassy28 January 2023This is a comedy/drama why did they think it was a good idea to make episode 8 a musical. It was absolutely the WORST episode of TV I have ever watched in my life. The musical aspect was so unnecessary,unneeded and unwanted. They didn't even get the chance to act out what was happening because they were too busy singing. Then the ending like come on y'all could have done better than that. Richie Keen who directed this episode needs to never in his life come back or he will single handedly kill yalls show. I can't stress enough how much of a bad idea this was to make it a musical. And then on top of that how y'all gone have a wedding episode and barely show the nuptials. Like literally if I wanted to watch a musical I would have turned it on one. And I'm really shocked at how NO ONE during the production process thought this was a bad idea. If I could give this negative 10 stars I would.

I am so glad they made the decision to keep the reboot alive. Even though the story fell off when it went to BET, this new storyline is really intriguing and I am loving every topic being shared. Hoping for a second season renewal! -
demekafields27 November 2021I love this new rendition of The Game! The acting is great, as well as the production quality. While I do miss some of the original characters, Tasha Mack is still a star, and I am love the adult Britt-brat. Malik is still great, and the new characters are likable as well. I just started watching the show yesterday, and I wish the episodes were longer! I hope this show gets the attention and publicity it deserves. It's worth the watch!

It concentrated on challenges that the black community faces on a daily basis and brought them to light, such as racism, wrongful convictions, mental health, and ultimatums. My favorite character Tasha Mack epitomizes the term "black girl power." She juggles the roles of entrepreneur, wife, mother, confidante, and friend. I admire her ambition for success and her ability to overcome obstacles; she is truly inspirational.

ifeelavon28 January 2023"The Game" is presented as a dramatic comedy, light on humor, and an engaging story. The continuation of the characters' stories is brilliant and the new dramatic events feed my cravings. I can appreciate this version of imagining what the world of NFL athletes is like.
The story draws you in and includes you in the high-powered, throat-cutting, highly dramatic of conflict, romance, and dirt the way we like it.
So excuse me, how did anyone think it was a good idea to make Season 2, Episode 8, a musical? It didn't work at all. A great dramatic show, but the Season 2 finale as a musical did not work here. I understand it was part of Jamison's head trip, but it still was not good. Please do better. TYVM. -

I could not believe my eyes when I saw the commercial and I am so ecstatic that my favorite television series is back and better than ever !!! I was sad to see the season end and have high hopes for them to keep coming because I can't wait to see what's in store next. Also can we just talk about how amazing Adriyan Rae and Vaughn W. Hebron (aka Barry from Tyler Perry's The Oval) are in this ? I see big things for their future careers and I'm loving it !!!

tracywilliamson-6503831 May 2022First episode is quite unrealistic, no collections agent would harass someone like tht one guy was doing to Kelly's daughter in the first episode, don't know why they wrote it in like tht,most collection agents wouldn't even be walking out of tht club in one piece if tht happened in real life. Also the shows so far funny, but I'm sensing a more serious approach than it's predecessor.

ccbnme25 November 2022I love the reboot. This is excellent! The actors are great, the storylines are popping and they episodes have my attention from start to finish. Some shows I can walk away and come back but not with this show. You have to pause because you don't want to miss a second! "Malik" is showing his acting skills and I am very impressed. "Tasha" is still funny and carrying the show. So glad she is back and fierce as ever. I will say that I would love to see her and Pookie be more of a family with the young daughter. Make more episodes with her doing a better job of being a power women and a present mom.

shirleyls-7761325 February 2022I like the reboot of the game. This show is well written. The show portrays issues that are in the news and issues that the Black Community faces on a daily basis. Tasha Mack is funny and seriously about business and family (friends). Tasha...you were strong girl!!! I know you fired that white entitled woman (name not necessary), but she needed to be punched directly in the nose. I loved your natural-just beautiful.... I hope your daughter is just as strong as you. The white woman needed to be dragged though.... As you can see, I'm in my feeling about her messing with that child's hair, like it was nothing.
Malik is coming in serious and strong. Thank you so much for bringing mental health in the Black Community to up. We are getting better with getting "professional therapy" and not just talking to "If I was you" people.
Tasha will milk a cow in Red Bottoms and buy a whole school too. It was good to see Derwin and Jason. Both great actors and I hope they come back often. Good to see how much Brittany has grown and still growing. I really like the humility of the Jamison Fields character. I hope that his mom accepts help.
Keep up the great writing and the great acting. Can't wait to see how these characters are developed. Looking forward to next season.
Let's get it, let's go!!!

foresightdna18 March 2024Man why haven't yall broght this back... Ill give then the money to keep going yall need to bring the game back out... why did they decide to cancel the show...? It a lot of people that want this show to come out again its like rhe fresh prince... when think about the spin off of this show it was just interesting because it the funny version of what is really going on out here in the league.. me anf my friends in the sports world looked forward to this coming out and it never did thus seaaon that really was a disappointment to all of us especially when the writers were very good and keep it interesting.

I really hope to see more seasons of this.
I wasn't too much into the original but since this has a more grown up feel to it with little splashes of comedy. This is pure television gold right here.
