Some dullard who added this Jim Powers title to IMDb not only elevated porn to the level of documentary (not), but contradicted that notion by giving the players character names, their stage names (there are no character names here). At any rate, was hoping for a story line and character to go along with the yoga, but came up empty.
Instead Powers, the former gonzo specialist of a thousand shoots who now bills himself ridiculously as "The Undisputed King of Romance" delivers 100 minutes of actresses adopting both gymnastic and balletic yoga poses, with hired studs servicing them part of the time. Other than a couple of the ladies like Karmen Karma reverting to pornspeak and the fake grunting and groaning of traditional porn, this is stiff and unemotional set of tableaux, not really porn and far from a documentary. Optional bonus on the DVD is to hear the ladies describe their poses (on the boring level of "now breathe in, then breathe out") as part of the fake how-to "guide" of the title.
I found both Riley Reid and Lea Lexis ravishing in their ability to combine explicit sex with beautiful posing, reminding me of the dreadful mini-genre of "Petite Ballerinas Getting Humped" that has a small following on DVD these days. But ultimately Powers has fashioned an empty exercise, pretentious in its own way and lacking the staying power and interest of his famous "Perverted Stories" gonzo triumph at the other end of the Adult spectrum.
