| First IMDB review: Movie score rigged by fanboys and "activists"
A very boring pop-corn movie. When I was watching this I thought to myself: I am finally getting tired of MCU movies. The scripts felt like it was auto-generated by MCU movie writing AIs.

When I looked at the scores of "Wonder Woman" and compare the two movie scores together. Wonder Woman had 7.5 and this has 7.2? Why are you blatantly lying to yourselves fanboys and activists? If the movie sucks, it sucks. You don't have to come here and give MISGUIDING scores in defense of a Multi-billion dollar company's steaming pile of crap. What you fanboys and activists should do is give the score that it deserves so that Marvel and Disney will fix the sequel for the better.

To those fanboys and "activists", Brain is a good thing to have. But you can always lie to yourselves that you have one. And you people are ruining IMDB. I hope you can frig right off.

Trivia

When Vers/Captain Marvel is looking around the bar and remembering past experiences there, she notices the arcade cabinet for a Street Fighter video game. Since the release of X-Men vs. Street Fighter (1996) in 1996, one year after the year this movie is set, Capcom has published fighting video games that pit their characters against Marvel superheroes. However, Captain Marvel did not appear in any of them until Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite (2017), released in 2017.

Quotes

Nick Fury: Space invasion, big car chase... truth be told, I was ready to hang it up. 'Till I met you today.

Goofs

At around 0:34 minutes in the film, Nick Fury shows his ID and says "Official S.H.I.E.L.D. activity". Also around 0:42 minutes he identifies himself as Nicholas Joseph Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. But the term S.H.I.E.L.D. was not used untill the events of Iron Man (2008) when Agent Phil Coulson meets Pepper during press conference & says he is from "Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division". It was only at the end of Iron Man (2008) that Phil says now they are known by S.H.I.E.L.D. Since Captain Marvel is set in 1995, there is no way this acronym could have been used.

Coulson never says that they are now known as SHIELD. When Pepper tries to say the full name, Coulson responds: "just call it SHIELD". Even if one regards that as the birth of acronym, it has been ignored since the start of the MCU. The opening montage of The Incredible Hulk (2008) shows a document, written before 2008, where the organization is identified as "Shield". Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter (2013) (set in 1946) calls the organization "SHIELD". As does flashbacks (that take place before the events of Iron Man) in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013).

Crazy Credits

SPOILER: There is a scene in the closing credits: Captain Marvel meets up with the Avengers, responding to the pager Nick Fury activated in Avengers: Infinity War (2018). This leads into Avengers: Endgame (2019).
