Man! I thought Infinity War was off the hook, but this one... A perfect compliment to a two part epic. It was what I thought it was going to be, a lot of talk, a lot of planning, but amazingly it was not boring. Not for one second! Infinity War was the moment we were all waiting for and then they tell us they are going to split it into two films. End Game could have gone south with this choice, but it did not. It's always exciting, especally if you are a comic book fan or have been watching these movies for now eleven years. Don't want to say too much, but shine a light on Robert Downey Jr. who got to perfect his Iron Man persona to the point where Hugh Jackman can't even surpass him. Captain American is giving all us FanBoys everything we ever wanted to see and Thor...underperforms with hilarious results (and hopefully will create 2019's most popular costume for a certain type of man). Loved Mark Rufflo in this film and Thanos baby, still the baddest villain around. It's fun it's dramatic, it's like Lord of the Rings with one less movie. Three hours well worth the ticket. Stan Lee would be proud! Nuff said!

Trivia

In Marvel Comics, there was a period of time where Bruce Banner's consciousness embodied the Hulk's physical body. This however, was achieved through a joint effort of Doctor Strange and Bruce's longtime friend, Dr. Leonard Samson (who was also irradiated by gamma rays). The result, however, was different than what's seen in the film. Instead of a balanced Bruce Banner/Hulk as we see in "Endgame", Samson and Strange managed to merge the three consciousnesses of Hulk (Green), Joe Fixit (Grey), and Bruce Banner so that whenever Bruce was in control, the Hulk's body would surface. But if he lost his temper and the Savage Hulk persona came out, he would transform into the diminutive body of Bruce Banner.

Clint Barton: Okay, hold on. Don't shoot.

Goofs

The Army fatigue uniform that Steve Rogers is wearing while he and Tony are on the Army base in 1970 has his rank (Captain) correctly indicated on his cap as well as his right collar point. His left collar point has his service branch indicator, which, unfortunately, bears a resemblance to the LtCol rank. The branch indicator isn't clearly visible, but appears to be transportation branch. His uniform, rank and branch, are correct for the time period.

Crazy Credits

When the Marvel logo appears at the end of the closing credits, the sound of a hammer hitting metal can be heard several times (this is the sound of Tony Stark forging his suit in Iron Man (2008), setting in motion the Marvel Cinematic Universe).

Alternate Versions

IMAX version shown at AMC in Shelby, MI was only about 2.5hrs long! Appears that there are two versions being shown. Movie was to start at 12:30p.m. At that time previews to other shows started. The actual Avengers Endgame movie started about 12:50p.m. and ended around 3:20p.m. The movie is stated on the Internet as 3 hrs and 2 minutes long!
