After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to reverse Thanos' actions and restore balance to the universe.
This is the first film to get a theatrical re-release and extended version before the DVD and Blu-Ray release. Head producer at Marvel, Kevin Fiege wanted to do this as it has only $35 million to go to top Avatar (2009) in the global box office which is currently at $2.787 billion.
Okay, hold on. Don't shoot.
In the final battle, Valkyrie is seen riding a Pegasus. Since Asgard has been destroyed and she has been living on Earth for many years, where did she get the Pegasus from?
It is reasonable to presume the Pegasus are raised in one of the other Realms, or are constructs of the will power of the Valkyrie.
When the Marvel logo appears at the end of the closing credits, the sound of a hammer hitting metal can be heard several times (this is the sound of Tony Stark forging his suit in Iron Man (2008), setting in motion the Marvel Cinematic Universe).
On June 28, 2019, the film was re-released with 6 minutes of extra footage after the credits.
