Archived newspapers describe this special as Jack's objective to illustrate that "the truth is not only stranger than fiction and is far funnier." This is a humor-filled potpourri of oddball incidents collected on film from around the world. Among the ingredients is a segment on football fumbles and unplanned plays that create gridiron chaos.
