In an alternate universe, very different versions of DC's Trinity (Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman), who operate outside of the law, are framed for murders of prominent scientist and the government decides to take them out.

Mr. Freeze), Pat Dugan (a.k.a. S.T.R.I.P.E.), Emil Hamilton (member of the Secret Society), Karen Beecher (a.k.a. Bumblebee), Ray Palmer (Atom), Silas Stone (father of Victor Stone a.k.a. Cyborg), Thaddeus Sivana (a.k.a. Doctor Sivana, member of the Injustice League), Kimyo Hoshi (a.k.a. Doctor Light), Stephen Shin (ocasional friend of Aquaman) and William Magnus.
It's funny how things can change so quickly. After a while, you don't even recognize yourself anymore.

During the opening credits, the incubator pod is shown rushing along at tremendous speed just above the ground, but when the wide angle is shown after the credits, there's simply a round crater as if it landed vertically. There should be a long gouge in the Earth behind it and a wall of debris built up in front of it.
