Unexpectedly short and quite low budget for a disney partnered-show

I did not expect for a successfull franchise to end that quickly at 10 minisodes, also how the heck did it managed to get in partnership with Disney? The voice acting was more like middle for me, so not good but also not bad. And the budget seemed kind of low. The fact that the "You get me" song from Tom and Angela released in 2012 seemed more modern, like a higher budget actually suprised me?
