Talking Friends is a web animated series of Talking Tom, Ben, Angela, Ginger, and Pierre from the Talking apps by Outfit7. So here they actually get their own series where they encounter some situations that you'd basically see in any other animated series that's nothing special. But some stories are actually a little interesting to watch. The animation is nothing great but it atleast keeps the style of Talking Tom in some kind of way. It is a little cheap but not awfully. The voice acting is also on point with every character despite Pierre. For some reason Pierre sounds quite off than he does in the app but I guess this had to be done since his voice in the app sounds too strange for appearing in a show. But I'm atleast happy this show does its job and doesn't feel completely childish or cringeworthy. However I'm surprised that this show only lasted 10 episodes and was also in partnership with Disney??? How did Disney get involved? I have no idea. It doesn't feel like Disney honestly I mean Disney wouldn't be this low budget but you know. I guess the production didn't have enough time or money so it stopped at 10 minisodes.
  • I did not expect for a successfull franchise to end that quickly at 10 minisodes, also how the heck did it managed to get in partnership with Disney? The voice acting was more like middle for me, so not good but also not bad. And the budget seemed kind of low. The fact that the "You get me" song from Tom and Angela released in 2012 seemed more modern, like a higher budget actually suprised me?
