Both premises involve a character trying to remember who they are based on the tattoos they left marked and outlined on their own body

The editing style is much of the same quick tracking shots and intense exposition. Kurt Weller is much like Jack Bauer where he is a federal agent willing to break whatever rules he needs to do, right or wrong, just to solve a problem.

Same type of quick editing and premise involving a mysterious former gov't trained assassin who can't remember who they are, can fight in mysterious ways and who can speak various languages. The creators also said this show is primarily inspired by this film.
