Factual errors
The series presents Houdini as a playboy. He was married in 1894 and his wife Bess accompanied him on most of his tours, especially in Europe.
Conan Doyle was Scottish not English, as portrayed here. A recording of him made in 1927 shows he had a marked Scottish accent.
Miscellaneous
In all the episodes,the collar number worn by the Woman Police Officer is different on both sides. The collars were designed so that the public could identify the officer because they did not display names. Looking at the collar numbers if you see her from her left, it reads "012" and from the right "120"
Anachronisms
The series is set in 1901. Houdini and Doyle did not meet until 1920.
