A working-class family man, Christopher Robin, encounters his childhood friend Winnie-the-Pooh, who helps him to rediscover the joys of life.
Two lines, often erroneously attributed to A.A. Milne on the internet, are in the dialogue for this movie. "People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day" and "What day is this? It's today."
The tree I remember was in the countryside, not here in London!
Christopher Robin: There's no opening!
Winnie the Pooh: I suppose it's where it needs to be.
Christopher Robin: That's a silly explanation.
Winnie the Pooh: Why, thank you.
When Christopher Robin is at his workplace, he is addressed as "Robin". As such workplaces address their employees by their last names, he should have been addressed as "Milne". Robin was his middle name. Correction: It is true that in real life Robin was his middle name, his full name being Christopher Robin Milne. However, in this adaptation they have changed it to have Robin be his last name. You can see this in that his wife and daughter are listed as "Evelyn Robin" and "Madeline Robin". It is a fictional story that has changed some of the real life facts.
The Disney logo turns into a drawing based on Winnie-the-Pooh artist Ernest Shepard's artwork.
