I watched this film with wide eyed wonder, It was such an eye opening experience , this institutionalized slaughter that seems so acceptable and necessary to some while at the same time others such as myself find
appalling, such opposing views, this issue is very prevalent here in New Mexico and everyone will benefit from the knowledge this film provides, We have a large wild horse population here in New Mexico and it is quite common to see them up around the areas of Placates and in the Canyons around Dine' country, Horse culture here in the SW High Desert has been an intrigal part of our daily life and it is not uncommon to interact with the real cowboys of NM on any given trip to your grocery store or gas station. The views are wildly different from people and this film really captures that duality. The camera work is fantastic , it's such a beautifully shot and well written piece, I truly enjoyed this film and thank those involved who did all the hard investigative work that made it possible.
