| Great cast, pretty awful movie
I hated to see such great actors coming together in a pretty bad movie. The plot was silly and some of the characters were overdone and equally silly (Poppy). The Elton cameo was good for the first scene then was way over done. So many things wrong after a pretty good first movie. Please don't make another one.

Trivia

Mark Strong, who played Merlin, provided the voice-over for Vue Cinemas in the U.K. and Ireland with regards to cinema etiquette. Exclusively for Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) screenings, he delivered the etiquette message in character as Merlin, reminding audiences to switch off their phones in his own unique style.

Quotes

Poppy: Yep, Kingsman is crumpets! Like toast, but British.

Goofs

Right after Eggsy hits the mine and Merlin takes his place, Eggys tries to argue. Merlin calls Eggsy "Roxy", who died in the beginning of the movie with the bombing of Kingsman. This is likely not a reference to Roxy from the earlier films, as she was willing to help Eggsy but not at all self-sacrificing as Merlin is in this moment based on the fact that she inherited the position of Lancelot.

Crazy Credits

The "Take Me Home, Country Road" musical theme is heard over the Marv Films logo. This foreshadows the song being used at a pivotal moment in the film.

Alternate Versions

In Singapore, before the film could receive an NC16 classification the film was edited in order to remove two utterances of religious profanity which was deemed to exceeded the BFC's set Classification Guidelines. Under these Classification Guidelines, "language that denigrates religion or is religiously profane" is not allowed for all ratings.
