On the eve of the transition from film to digital, the longtime denizens of a camera store confront their personal issues in this darkly comic story.
There are two scenes in the movie where digital cameras have a cameo. In the first scene a modified version of a Kodak DC40 can be seen. The movie prop has a sand colored body and yellow status LEDs on the back whereas the real world DC40 is black and has none such LEDs. In the second scene a customer brings in what looks like an early Kodak DSLR. He complains about an overheated CPU and the fear to lose his images which is absolute nonsense of course. The camera he slams on the counter appears to be a movie prop as there is no real world version of this camera. It has a close resemblance to the integrated Kodak Hawkeye II however.
The thing about life is... You know you're going to be screwed. The thing that makes it interesting is... You never know how.
No film was harmed during the making of this movie.
